The group's debut album Count Your Blessings, released in 2006, received mixed reviews due to its polarizing deathcore sound. However, Bring Me the Horizon began to shift away from this style with their second album Suicide Season (2008). This record was a turning point for the band in terms of critical acclaim and commercial success.
